The market for nature is coming.

We’re already in it.

Three national emergencies: climate, biodiversity, and housing. All fixable within a nature-based circular economy. In Scotland and beyond.

Restored nature, supporting sustainable forestry to build affordable homes.

NatureProsperity will lead the way to that economy.

THE IDEA

In the Nature Prosperity Pump, trees store carbon, sustainable forestry provides timber, timber is used for manufacturing homes, the homes house a rural workforce, the workforce manages the land so that biodiversity collapse is stopped, and more carbon is stored.

01

Nature restored at scale

Net-positive forestry and land management across the Scottish Highlands. Biodiversity rising, carbon stored in forestland, native woodland, peatland, soils and seas. We measure all of it.

02

Affordable timber homes

Timber from nature-positive forests, manufactured to Passivhaus standard. Low carbon emissions during construction. Carbon stored by the tonne. Miniscule energy bills. Built to be lived in for generations. The housing emergency dismantled without fuelling the climate emergency.

03

The loop that closes itself

Forests grow into buildings. Buildings store carbon. The economy that builds the home pays for the next forest. Each turn of the pump accelerates the rural economy that can house the workforce that can accelerate biodiversity recovery and carbon storage.

THE PORTFOLIO

The starting lineup spans the breadth of the pump

The frontline of nature restoration. Recovery is measured rigorously enough to be investable, and being investable is what makes it inevitable. Follow Highlands Rewilding’s journey here.
